The village Žacléř is located
in the east part of the Giant Mountains. The ski area in Prkenný Důl is
a very good ski center in the east part of the Giant Mountains The center
provides
ski lifts and downhill's of all levels. The beautiful nature, and good conditions
makes also cross country very attractive. The main downhill you'll find
on the mountain ridge Rýchory, close to the border with Poland in the
direction of Horní Lysečiny and Malá Úpa. It offers: check system
ski data, a parking place directly in the middle of the ski center (free
of charge), ski equipment rental, ski service, ski school and nursery, snow park, artificial snow-making system, regularly mechanical maintenance,
snack bars, restaurant Zelený mlýn, riding on horseback, and you will
find there possibilities to play bowling, have a sauna, solarium or
visit the discotheque.
