Ski
area Svatý Petr - Špindlerův Mlýn is the most important and most
popular sport center of the Czech Republic. A lot of important sport events
take place each year. During the winter season of 2003 / 2004 you could
see 3 World
cup competitions, one European cup and a lot of other sport events. 3
chair lifts and 5 ski lifts are open during the winter season, and directly in
area. The length of altitude and preparation of the downhill slopes have
the best quality in the whole Czech Republic. Very much visited is
"snow park"
including "U ramp". In whole Špindlerův Mlýn are 4 chair lifts and 11
ski lifts / one ticket is valid for all lifts. Svatý Petr is connected with ski area
Medvědín by regular Ski bus. The visitors of Špindlerův Mlýn
may find many restaurants, ski and snowboard schools, at night free time
possibilities - swimming pools, bowling, sleigh and sledge routes,
discotheques and also every day there's night skiing the new built (in the year
2003) downhill slope Hromovka.
