The
ski area of Klínovec is the largest ski resort in Krušné hory (Ore
mountains), and is located only 120 km to the west from Prague, near the
German border. The downhill tracks of all difficulty levels are
regularly maintained. The resort guarantees good snow conditions by
means of the installed artificial snow making system, which covers all
downhill tracks - a total of 6 km of artificial snow-covered slopes over
an area of 14 hectares. The snow-making system is fully automated. They
offer their visitors 5 km long prepared cross country route. Further
they offer the following services: U-ramp category Super pipe, snow park,
snow-tubing. Children till 100 cm are free of charge. Among the resort's
attractions is a small ski area that is especially suitable for beginners
and families with young children. The children ski lift is free of
charge in mini ski area. Other services offered by the resort include: 2
ski schools, 2 ski rental shops, 2 ski services, 8 snack bars, a
restaurant, wide range of accommodation, and 4 public car parks with a
capacity of 500 cars - free of charge. The transport is provided free of
charge by ski bus on the routes: Kovářská - Č.Hamry - Háj -
Loučná - Klínovec, Mariánská - Boží Dar - Klínovec.
