Water flows from here to the Rudolfov Power Station by means of a covered "channel". Černá hora (Black mountain) - a nature reserve situated 1084 m above sea level. The remains of the original pine growth have been damaged by emissions. A raised bog with the mountain pines rock formations (snow towers). Josefův Důl an industrial agricultural municipality established in 1701. The old glassworks from the 17th century was replaced with the present works in 1910. The Church of the Transformation of the Lord dates from 1862-65. The small-leaved linden under the railway station is probably the oldest tree in the Jablonec region. Klikvová louka - a nature reserve, which includes a peat moor with a rich occurrence of Sphagnum and cranberries. At the start of the 20th century, peat was dug here and from 1908 the excavated turbary was used as a water reservoir (now overgrown) The water from this reservoir was used to power the glass grinding plants in Bedrichov. Královka - lies at 859 m above sea level, the highest point on the Maxov Ridge. The lookout tower (23.5 m high) dates from 1907. The lodge beneath the tower dates from 1936. The name Královka is a Czech version of the original German name, "Königshöhe". The oldest Czech name of the mountain is Nekraš. Kristiánov - a former settlement and glassworks (1775 - 1887), which is now uninhabited. The manor house burnt down in 1938. The forest glassworkers' cemetery is situated there. The remaining vestige of the glassworks is the manor house, which was converted into a hunting lodge in 1844 and later (after 1930) into the headquarters for the State Forest Authority. The reservation of the same name lies in the environs (31 hectares, declared a reservation in 1987) - a raised bog with mountain pines and water logged spruce forests. Severák - The name for both the mountain (803 m above sea level) and the mountain chalet. Thanks to a number of ski tows, Severák has become one of the main centers for downhill skiing in the Jizera Mountains.
