The
house
The house is situated almost in the center of the mountain city of Žacléř
in the eastern part of the giant mountains (Krkonose). Žacléř is
outside village of the big city Trutnov. On the north side of this area
you find the border with Poland. Classification: ground floor, entrance,
hallway, entrance apartment "1", staircase, ski storage. 1st
floor: staircase, entrance apartment "2". 2nd floor: staircase,
entrance apartment "3".
Accommodation
Apartment "1" - is situated on the ground floor and is
the biggest apartment. It has a capacity of maximum 6 persons. Classification:
hallway, living room with kitchen corner, bedroom 1 (2 beds), bedroom 2 (4
beds), bathroom with shower, toilet and washable, The kitchen is new and
offers an electric cooking plate, fridge, cutlery, pots and pans, glasses,
cups, water cooker and coffeemaker. In the living room you'll find a sit corner
with TV. There are also closets to keep your clothes.
Apartment "2" - is situated on the 1st floor. This
apartment has a capacity for maximum 5 persons. Classification: hallway,
living room with sit corner and TV, a separate kitchen, a big bedroom, bathroom
with tub and washable, separate toilet with an entrance from the hallway,
closets, new kitchen block with fridge, cooking plate, cutlery, pots,
pans, cups water cooker and coffee maker.
Apartment "3" - is situated on the 2nd floor. It is the
smallest apartment and is suitable for maximum 4 persons. Classification:
hallway, bathroom with shower, toilet and wash table, bedroom with a
double bed, closet, living room with open kitchen, living room with two sofa beds,

General information: The house has a store room for skies. Every
apartment has private central heating. On request there are barbecue possibilities.
The house has a garden with apple trees and a lawn.
Žacléř
Žacléř is a small mountain village with a reasonable ski area. The
ski area is about 1500 - 2000 meters away from the house. There is a
possibility to take the bus. The bus stop is right in front of the house.
In Žacléř you'll find a museum and for all the other possibilities
please check the local tourist office. A restaurant you'll find at 50 and
100 meters from the house, a supermarket on 100 meter, hiking- and biking trails
in the giant mountains on 300 meters. For teenagers there are several
disco's with taxi service. More information on this you can have at the
local museum.

Surrounding
Žaclér is an historical mountain village and counts about 4000
inhabitants. It has a post office, supermarkets, shops, several
restaurants, pubs etc. There are a number of sport possibilities like
skiing, tennis, volleyball, ride on horseback and it is also possible to
take a sightseeing flight in an airplane. In the weekend there are disco
parties for teenagers. A very important attraction of Žaclér is an old
mineshaft. It is the oldest in Europe. This you can see on Monday and
Tuesday morning. NOTE! Reservations can only be made with minimum 3
persons, and every person has to be older than 10 years. A tour will take
about 3 hours and one ticket will be around 250 crowns. Žaclér has good
possibilities for daytrips. The city Trutnov is about 15 Km. It has a nice
historical museum and the castle Kuks with the oldest drugstore of
Europe. It offers an outdoor and indoor swimming pool with sauna, solarium
and fitness area. 30 Km away from Žaclér you'll find the highest
mountain in the Czech Republic. It is the Snižka, and is 1603 meter high.
25 km. north east of Trutnov you'll find the rock labyrinth Adršpach. Žaclér
is situated on the Rýchory mountain ridge. It is the eastern part of the
national Krkonose park. You'll find here wonderful hiking- and biking
trails. The owner can provide help with the following reservations: ski
rental, ski lessons, horse sleigh. In the summer: fishing license, wild safari
with guide, tour in the mineshaft, sightseeing flight, horse riding,
tennis and more.
