The ATRIUM Hotel is situated in the
city Varnsdorf, exactly where the three countries of the Czech Republic,
Germany and Poland come together. You will find here several border
crossings with Germany.
Varnsdorf is currently
in its textile and machinery industry, one of the largest industrial
centers in North Bohemia. Varnsdorf was in 1849 already the largest
village in the former Austrian Empire. In 1868 Varnsdorf was promoted to
the status of city. On three sides the city Varnsdorf is surrounded by the
Czech-German border, and is situated at the foot of the Lužický
mountains in northern Bohemia. With border crossings to Germany Varnsdorf
is for the development of tourism an important in and out gate, with
excellent starting points for excursions in this beautiful area with full
of interesting tourist destinations.
Prague
- 120 km, Liberec - 45 km, Česká Lípa - 30 km, the German-Polish
highway A4 (Bautzen) - 35 km, Dresden - 100 km, Zgorzelec (Poland) - 45
km, Jelenie Góra (Poland) - 120 km.
Accommodation
We offer accommodation in comfortably furnished Single- and double rooms,
and one suite with 2 separate rooms. Each room is equipped with modern
furniture, a bathroom with toilet, a satellite TV, a telephone, Internet
access, and a mini bar. The attic rooms are air-conditioned. On each floor
is a room available that is suitable for people with disabilities, and the
whole building is accessible for wheelchairs.
The mentioned accommodation prices are included breakfast, parking, VAT,
and other surcharges.
Out guests will have their own parking place, which is lockable and
monitored by a camera.
Restaurant and summer terrace
The ATRIUM restaurant
will surely surprise you with its pleasant and modern environment. We have
a dining area, a bistro (for enjoyment), and a small seating area for 60
guests. Our chefs can satisfy the most demanding customer. For every wish
of our customers to perform, we have a well equipped kitchen with culinary
arts, and a wide selection of tasty dishes from home and abroad. We
arrange ceremonies for family and company parties, banquets, parties,
weddings, receptions, trainings, meetings, presentations, and so on.
In the summer, when the weather is good, we offer a very pleasant
and modern summer terrace. You can also choose the open terrace
on the second floor where you can choose the tanning bed, or when the
weather is bad you can choose our little winter garden on the first
floor.
In all cases you can count on our friendly and helpful staff if you like a
cool glass of Czech beer, a cup of coffee, or tea, or something else from
our wide range of soft drinks or other alcoholic beverages, or even
ice-cream, etc.
The summer garden in the evening is a quiet sitting area with barbecue,
music, and romantic lighting.
Service and conferences
Our guests can also enjoy other services in the ATRIUM building. We have a
SAUNA (on request, with refreshments from the restaurant), MASSAGE,
SOLARIUM, MANICURE, PEDICURE, COSMETICS and HAIRDRESSING SALON.
We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, and in agreement we arrange guided
bus trips.
The conference, or meeting room with all technical facilities is
suitable for all kinds of business activities such as, meetings,
discussions, presentations, training, seminars, festivities, private
events, and so on. The fine local atmosphere will contribute to the
success of your event.

Varnsdorf and surrounding
Varnsdorf is dominated by the castle “Burgsberg” with watchtower. If
the sight is good, you can not only see the German and the Czech side of
the LUŽICKÉ HORY (4 km), with its highest peak the “LUZ” (793
meters) (www.luzicke-hory.cz),
but also JEŠTĚD at Liberec.
Only 9 km away is the town Krásná Lípa, it is the gateway to the “BOHEMIAN
SWITZERLAND” (www.ceskesvycarsko.cz),
followed by the “Saxon Switzerland”. Other attractions in Varnsdorf
are the knights castle TOLŠTÝN, the tower JEDLOVÁ, the CROSS
ROUTE in Jiřetíně pod Jedlovou. Also the mountains
Rozhledny Dymník (516 m) and Vlčí Hora (580m) offer a beautiful
view over Šluknov and its surrounding.
But also very attractive are some tourist destinations in the neighboring
countries like in Geramny. Among others: Großschönau, Waltersdorf,
Jonsdorf, Oybin and Lückendorf. Very well known and popular places
among tourists.
Furthermore the mining process, the valley Milířky, the galery of
Saint Evangelisty in Jiřetíně pod Jedlovou, the regional museum
in Jiřetíně pod Jedlovou (the local mining and Tolštejn), the
valley Kyjovské, or the glass museum in Nové Bor. These are some
excursion that are really worth to visit.
Sports
In Varnsdorf you will several sports, among others, a football pitch,
tennis courts, bowling, a swimming pool and an indoor pool.
Other sport facilities can be found in Rumburk (8 km), or on the German
side of the border (10 km).
A professional GOLF COURSE can be found at “Malevil”, with many
other adrenaline sports. There is a tennis court, a playground, and a
small zoo.
In Germany, in Oderwitz (5 km), you can visit a “Luge” track, which is
very popular, and open all year.
A WINTER SPORT area is called Horním
Podluží (5 km). Nice area with possibilities for artificial snow if
necessary.
All within a range of 25 km from the ATRIUM Hotel.
