to Hoslovice
Greetings to everyone who might visit the ranch & guesthouse "U Starýho kance" in Hoslovice in the near future. Our
bio-ranch lies in the outskirts of the Bohemian forest. We have cows,
calves and bulls. We have sheep and other pets for our guests to enjoy.
Especially for children it will be nice. We love our horses, and they
would be happy to take you for a ride in the beautiful surroundings. There
are plenty of marked trails for horseback riding, cycling, or hiking.
Hoslovice is a nice tourist area that offer many possibilities. We offer
week stays, weekend stays, and business meetings. We have our own pig
farm, and prepare them ourselves. It means there are always plenty of
opportunities for grill or barbecues. Of course there is also ice cream
for the children. We are here for those who like to spend some time in
nature and with nature. We are looking forward to your visit.

 Accommodation
The pub, guesthouse and ranch "U Starýho kance" offers
agro-tourism, accommodation, meals, half- and full board, and we
have a room for business meetings, or any private meeting. We have our own
pig farm, and they will be prepared in traditionally bohemian way. It
means fresh meat, and many opportunities for a barbecue or grill party. We
offer 2 apartments for 4 persons with kitchen and private bathroom (shower
and toilet), 2 apartments for 4 persons with private bathroom (shower and
toilet), 7 double rooms with an extra bed and private bathroom (shower and
toilet), and 3 double rooms with private bathroom (shower and toilet).
Board: Breakfast from buffet (with drinks like tea, coffee, children
coffee, milk and orange- and apple juice. Food: fresh bread, butter, jam,
cheese, yogurt, meat, and fried dishes). With half- full board: Lunch:
soup, main course and desert. And for dinner: starter, main course and
desert or salad. Every day there is a choice between two meals, and
everything will be served with vegetables, desert, and salad.
Summer vacation
In the summer months June, July, August and September you can only book a
vacation for a week from Saturday till Saturday. Of course two, three or
more weeks is also possible. During your holiday you will have a ranch
experience in the first hand. You can watch how we take care of our cows,
horses and all the other animals. In the afternoon you will have the
change to make some ornaments, and in the evening you can enjoy music and
dancing. The children can try to find their treasure in the nearby forest.
For guests there is discount for riding on horseback (with wagon), you can
go for fishing, archery, or you can ride a 4-wheel motorcycle. There is a
volleyball court, and in the beautiful forest of Hoslovice you can ride
bicycle, hike, or pick some berries or mushrooms.
Further options
Horses – Ekochov Hoslovice today offers a large herd of horses.
You can ride indoor, or in the corral, and we can organize other
competitions. It is possible just to ride on horseback, or to prepare a
horse, and have e real time rodeo experience. For children we have ponies.
Fishing – there is a plot of one acre with a pond. It is
surrounded by beautiful alder trees. Where you can catch a fish or just
enjoy the nature. It offers peace and happiness. You will be really
blessed by “St. Peter” like the local ay it here. The fish that you
catch you can bring back to the house, or you can just prepare it at the
campfire. Cycling – The Bohemian forest is a beautiful place for
cycling. The hilly landscape offers a creative and challenging ride. Our
house offers a storage room for your bicycles, and we offer a variety of
other basic services, and we offer the most common drinks and meals for
the necessary refreshments. We are looking forward to your visit.
