to the family guest house Dlazk in Kremze at Cesky Krumlov
Our family guest house lies in the village of Křemže. The
picturesque touristy area lies in some corner of the region “Pošumaví”,
where the mountain life is often underestimated. Nearby you will find many
historical and cultural attractions. The summer offer many opportunities
in the untouched virgin nature, and in the winter there are plenty of
opportunities for the most demanding winter sport lovers.
Accommodation
The house is located on the village square, dominated by the church. The
apartments can be reached by a spiral staircase, and for disabled, we have
some kind of platform elevator. The apartments have 2 rooms, and are fully
furnished. They have one bedroom with bedside closets, and bed lights. The
have a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, and a bathroom with
toilet, sink, mirror and shower or bath. The house is very suitable for
family recreation. On the grassy courtyard, guests can use the swimming
pool (4,5 meters by 1 meter depth). Also the courtyard offer a fireplace
where you can have a barbecue.

The
city Křemže
The first written references of Křemže
date back to 1263. At that time it was the property of the family "Dubensky
of Chlum". In the year 1318 Mister Dubensky devided the place into 2
parts. A piece for the family Chlum, and a piece for the family Kremez.
Into the current location of Kremze a certain Mister Smil built a fort,
and his children where called the "Smillers of Kremze". The last
heir, John Smil, was arrested by Ulrich von Rosenberg in 1447, and
sentenced to death. In 1451 Ulrich von Rosenberg sold the castle to the
brothers "Přibíkovi" en "Oldřichovi"
of Chlum. About 100 years later, in 1547, the family "Častolárů
z Dlouhé Vsi" became the new owners. In 1678 it became the monastery
"Zlata Koruna", and when this monastery
was abolished in 1785, it became the property of the "Schwartzenbergs"
of Cesky Krumlov. In the year 1863 the village of Kremze became city
rights, and used the seal of the ancient family "Dubenský"
of Chlum (the seal was a bullet, it was the sign of John Smil). In
the year 1840 there was a huge fire in Křemže
(15 houses on the square were completely distroyed). Historical
buildings in the village are: the church of eartangel Michael,
at the oldest part of the original Roman sacristy, the original arches
were completely renovated, and located next to parsonage from the 14th
century. At the site of the ruined church "Častolár",
built in 1557, a new church, in gothic style, was built in 1887. Kaple
sv. Voršily na hřbitově (the chapel of St. Ursula at the
cementary) - The building dates back to 1550, and was struck by
lightning in 1905. It was significantly damaged, and had to be renovated.
Also you have the fort "Chlum", fort "Křemže",
fort "Chlumeček", fort "Dívčí kámen",
the watch tower "Rozhledna na Kleti" (1083 meter above the sea
level), and from the year 1825. The village is located in a protected
nature reserve with rare flora and fauna, and minerals. Sport: Badminton
(player Markéta Koudelková, multiple Czech champion), gymnastics, Ski
club "Chmelná",
street hockey, tennis, soccer, and volleybal.
