About the house - Welcome to Krusne hory (Ore Mountains) at the family home Maruška in Hřebečne
Become one of our guests and see the beauty of the "Krusne hory" (Ore mountains), with its undisturbed nature. It offers many beautiful cycling routes, where people always discover new things. Our house is an ideal location for a holiday throughout the whole year. It is right near the "Krušnohorske magistrála". In the winter mainly used for cross country skiing, but in the remaining months it is an excellent cycle route, with a total length of 250 Km. Dogs till medium size are welcome at our place.

Accommodation
All four rooms have their own bathroom and are equipped with TV / SAT, and a Wi-Fi Internet connection (for free). The rooms offer a magnificent view over the surrounding countryside. They are efficiently designed with plenty of light in combination with wood.

All rooms can be used as a double room, and we have a baby cot (for free). If necessary (for larger groups), we can expand our capacity with an extra room. This room has TV / SAT and Wi-Fi, but no bathroom. This has to be resolved with one of the other rooms. For more demanding customers and larger groups it is possible to rent the entire building, including a luxury 2-room apartment with 4 beds, a living room with plasma TV, Wi-Fi Internet connection, a bathroom with tub (for two persons), and a washing machine. The total capacity of the building is 17 beds. Available is: The entire building, including a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, a bar, a sauna and a storage room for bicycles, skis, etc. Prices and terms are available upon request and only for full weeks.

Gastronomy
A rich, varied and hearty breakfast is included in the price. It is presented in the form of a buffet. The dinner, together with the half board reservation includes a 3 course menu. A starter, the main course, and a desert. The daily menu includes steaks, "schnitzel", several pasta possibilities, fish, fish sauces, au gratin dishes, soups, salads, pancakes, pastries, various side dishes, and more. In good weather, we also offer meals from the grill, and we can organize special dinners with a certain theme. Our exclusive cuisine is varied and professional, and is at a high level. Dishes are prepared with the best possible quality, and without artificial flavors or fragrances. Are you a vegetarian? do you have diabetes? or do you have problems with the gallbladder? Don't worry, we will take care of you, and your meal. We serve representative dishes, where even someone without any problems can be jealous of. You can just use the menu card. If the interest exists, we can also organize lunch packages for during the day, if you want to make a day trip. We also offer our guests, as a kind of bonus between 15.00 and 17.00 hours free coffee and tea. In the basement we have a private bar / meeting room. This can be used for groups of any kind. It is heated, and we offer a rich assortment of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Especially ideal in the winter months during your stay in a genuine atmosphere of high mountain landscape. The place can be rented with, or without staff. The full range of beverages is available for you, and without our supervision, so you have complete privacy in your discussions and entertainment in the form of games, TV / DVD, music and dance.

Service and entertainment

Summer
Cycling - the Ore Mountains extends over a distance of 130 km from southwest to northeast Bohemia, the area can be explored by means of total 255 km of roads and paths, which consist of 2 consecutive routes that connect directly to the board. Tourism - Plešivec - 1028 m above sea level, with a volcanic cone, and observation at the top of the tower, and the possibility of refreshments Klínovec - 1244 m above sea level, the highest peak of the Ore Mountains, and offers a unique view on the panorama of the middle Bohemian mountains. "Božídarský Spicak" - 1115 meters above sea level. Fichtelberg (Germany) - 1214 m above sea level. Region Boží Dar - Blatenská ditch (technical monument), the Božídarske peat bog  (national nature reserve), Wolf holes (collapsed mines), Svatošske rocks - from the place Loket, a walking and cycling route leads to there. The river in this protected landscape area (the Slavkov Forest) has created a large ravine, and together with rain and wind also large rock pillars and needles are formed. The form reminds you of a wedding (the bridegroom, the bride, the musicians, etc.). From 1933, these granite forms are a protected natural monument. There are also many other informative options (uranium mines, deserted camp ruins and monuments for political victims ...). Also an ideal place to find mushrooms. Karlovy Vary 25 km,  Loket 35 km, Oberwiesethal (D) 9 km - do not forget your identification (tennis, bowling, wellness center, swimming pool). The monastery in Ohří 35 km (Aqua Park), Marianske Lazne 75 km.

Winter
Especially winter sports enthusiasts - skiers, cross-country skiers, snowboarders, hikers and sleighing children will find here their draw. For both beginners and experienced skiers, the nearby area offers many possibilities to spend your time in an active way. I, (the owner) myself am a fanatical skier, and I would like to talk first about the downhill's. If you are a beginner, or parents with children, or for some reasons you don't want to be far from the house, I recommend to go for skiing in the nearby Abartamy. The center is located arouind 1 km away from the house. The length of the ski lift is 300 m, and the whole day skiing would cost about CZK 150,- for an adult, and children pay CZK 130,-. Of course we are talking abouit an area where you cannot demand so much. There is limited service, with a parking place. Another ski center is called "Pernink", which at about 3 km away from the house, it offers a wider range of downhill's, including lifts, lighted evenings, etc. The lifts have a length of 250 to 700 m. and there is a ski school for children, there is a baby lift, and an instructor for adults. The downhill's have the possibility to use artificial snow for the months when the snow is a bit lesser. An whole day skiing in both areas will cost CZK 350,- and for children it will be CZK 270,-. The last and most popular place is the area in the center of Boží Dar and Klínovec itself. The well visited area of Boží Dar, which is not only attractive for winter sport lovers lies 8 km away. It is the highest city in Central Europe (1028 m above sea level). The place offers two ski areas, "Neklid" and "Novako". On the downhill's of Neklid you have a length of 350 to 1200 m. A suitable place for advanced skiers and snowboard enthusiasts. A ski pass for the day would cost around CZK 330,- for an adult and about CZK 210,- for a child. Of course for everybody, but especially for parents with children, seniors and beginners, I would like to recommend the "Novako" center. This area has a modern lift, which is also suitable for small children. The area offers a ski school for children and adults, and a rental service for skis and snowboards. The "superhit" of this area is the so-called "snow tubing" - go down on a large inflated inner tube. A subscription for the entire day in "Novako" for an adult would be around CZK 200,- and for a child to CZK 130,-. Klínovec - it is 11 Km from the guest house, and situated at an altitude of 1244 m. It is the highest point of the Ore Mountains. It is the largest ski resort in this area. The total length of the downhill's is nearly 6 km and you will be able to use a total of ten different lifts including a chairlift (in use from last season 2008 / 2009). As in Neklid, also Klínovec offers the opportunity for families with children to have an active winter holiday. Beginners, seniors, and of course advanced and more demanding skiers will certainly be enthusiastic. Snowboard fans will have a perfectly maintained snow park and the children will appreciate their own ski park, with professional instructors who will take care of them in a calm and professional way. Without having any fear you can leave them there if you want. The instructors, who are mainly young people will not only entertain them, or take care of them, but also teach them how to ski, how to use the lift, and how to act safe in the whole area. For a pass for the whole day I paid last season CZK 360,-. For all areas listed, the following you can expect: easy parking, rental and maintenance for skis and snowboards, ski- and snowboard instructors, ski parks for children, refreshments, rescue center, sport shops, artificial snow, perfectly maintained downhill's and a minimum waiting time at the lifts. Skiing in Germany is possible in Oberwiesethal-Fichtelberg: http://www.fichtelberg-ski.de  The Ore Mountains in this area literally dissected by a dense network of well maintained slopes with a length of about 80 km. They connect directly to the house, it is the so-called ring of the Ore Mountains. The road connects the highest peaks of the Ore Mountains and on many places the transition to the neighboring Germany is possible.
