Sightseeing
& Surroundings
The hotel complex is located near a fairytale mountain called Blaník,
very important to a history of Czech Republic. It is said by a legend that
in this mountain there is an army hidden, warriors on stallions equipped
with all the archery and swords, waiting to come out when they are needed
by Czech nation, to help them out and fight for freedom and well-being of
czech population. When such occasion should happen they will be led by
their commander, called Bruncvik (his statue can be found right next to a
Charles Bridge in Prague and his magical sword is buried in the Charles
Bridge), the powerful army will rise and win all the battles. This
mountain is easily reachable by foot and should you climb it – there are
two pathways through woods (one steep and one gradually rising) you can
visit a viewing tower and see the hotel from a birds view. There are many
other places to visit within a short distance, castles, palaces with
guided tours, quaint villages with their local pubs with the cheapest
beer, interesting old towns such as Kutná Hora with its famous cathedral
and ossuary, Tábor with its Hussite tradition and many others. In the
surroundings of the hotel a lot of wildlife can be seen, animals like
deer, rabbits, hares, partridges and many kind of birds are almost
